This month, meet Michael Goldstein (fondly referred to as just “Goldstein” by his coworkers). He represents RichContext on-site at the Walmart office in San Bruno, California as a Digital Strategist. In his position, he has unique access and visibility into Walmart processes and additional resources, and his on-site presence helps ensure our clients have valuable support. Although he’s miles away from the RichContext headquarters in Northwest Arkansas, he is an integral part of the team. Get to know Goldstein below.
- Tell us about yourself.
I joined the team in 2019 as RichContext’s Digital Strategist, representing RichContext on-site at Walmart’s eCommerce office in San Bruno, California as part of Walmart’s Connected Content Partner program.
- Describe your role at RichContext.
My role is to be the face of RichContext for Walmart Internal, connecting with a variety of cross-functional partners from Category Buyers to Systems Engineers, to help bring best-in-class digital experiences to life on Walmart.com.
I have an extensive cross-functional background in Retail & Merchandising, cultivated at brands including Nike, The North Face, and American Eagle. I jumped on the opportunity to join RichContext to take a deep-dive into eCommerce to better understand how tech comes to life at the cutting edge of the innovation curve.
- What’s the best part about your job?
Getting to work with the RichContext team — I’m floored every day at the drive, ambition, creativity, and innovation that everyone brings to the table day after day, week after week, year after year.
- Favorite RichContext memory so far?
The entirety of the 2019 Holiday Party. Rumor has it Netflix is in talks with Troy Gasnier for a Holiday 2020 stand-up comedy special.
- What experience do you want clients to have with RichContext?
Always positive, always innovative. Our favorite projects are often the “out-of-the-box” digital challenges that our clients ask us to help solve. When working with RichContext, never hesitate to bring those “Can this be done?” questions to the table.
