RichContext is now The Stable.
The Stable, a leading commerce agency that supports consumer brands across brick and mortar, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, today announced the acquisition of award-winning, Arkansas-based e-commerce technology company RichContext.
Founded in 2016, RichContext’s breakthrough digital technology solutions have helped clients including General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Nestlé, Kimberly-Clark, and Hasbro captivate and engage consumers and drive them to purchase. RichContext is also a Walmart Connected Content Partner (CCP) for premium enhanced content services helping brands set a new standard for product detail pages on Walmart.com
This acquisition, in addition to its merger earlier in the year with Arkansas branding agency Kreative, will help strengthen The Stable’s omni-channel service offering to support brands across both physical and digital retail, including the rise in social selling that has accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2019, RichContext released Hyphen™, a dynamic shopping platform that provides brands a way to connect display and social media to commerce. The technology platform enables brands to create and manage online shopping destinations using data and optimization. Hyphen™ encourages product discovery while providing frictionless conversion for the consumer creating a more seamless shopping experience across multiple retailers.
The Stable, known for introducing brands including oral-health company quip, home security leader Ring, and plant-based Califia Farms into retailers like Target, Walmart, and Amazon, has spent the year expanding its service offering and aligning the agency to activate and support brands across all channels of commerce.

The deal was completed with financial support from mid-market private-equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners (GCP).
Both agencies will begin integration immediately, with plans to completely operate under The Stable brand by early 2021. The combined company will employ more than 150 people with offices in Minneapolis, Bentonville, Seattle, and Austin.
